You don’t have a quick scan option. However, you can use an individual scan to target specific documents. It took only 50 minutes. It took just 50 minutes.

A folder that contained Mac malware samples was downloaded for my research. It contained spyware, viruses, and malicious software.

It will prompt me to delete or quarantine the files. This helpful feature provides you with the list of potentially dangerous files that have been detected and allows you to choose whether to mark them as safe or remove them.

It was apparent that scan times weren’t improving after repeated scans. MacKeeper does not utilize file cache to skip the files that were scanned, reducing subsequent scan speeds. They also didn’t slow down the device.

Privacy Connect is just like other VPNs. It hides your IP address and secures sensitive data , and guards against hackers.

A lot of VPNs that are included with antivirus products are not reliable. MacKeeper VPN has the following features.

MacKeeper’s Junk File Cleaner is fast and simple to use. Safe Cleanup found a shocking 7.67 gigabytes of junk files on Macs in less than a minute. Clearing my hard drives on my Mac is something that I do not do as often.

It’s a challenge for me to use this feature because there’s no prompt asking you to examine these files before clicking Clean. You can then select which ones you do not want and select Clean Junk Files.

Trash is the only category to warn you prior to deleting all files. Clean

This feature is extremely useful, but the How to Use Smart Uninstaller guide from MacKeeper specifically states that it’s not recommended to remove macOS standard apps such as Quick Look and Spotlight. Why isn’t it clearly stated in the app ? You may believe that this is an alert in case you decide to delete them. It was not something I was looking to see. Click Remove Select to make sure that no important information is accidentally deleted.

Smart uninstaller is a great feature. However, I would like more information on which programs can be safely deleted or what to remove.

Memory Cleaner

Memory Clearer lets you know the way RAM (random Access Memory on your Mac) is being used. It can then help you clear the RAM and improve overall performance.

It consumed 7.9GB of my RAM 8GB, but just 22.7MB of memory when I tested it.

You will find the information about how memory is being utilized in the Memory Usage section. To clear the memory, click Cleaning Memory. This will remove approximately 3GB of it. Within minutes, the available memory was back to the levels it was at before. This was not a good idea.
