McAfee Antivirus has Windows and macOS support. It also supports iOS starting at the basic plan. Apps for Apple devices, however, have fewer capabilities. You can buy a single license for every device at $29.99/year. For 2 years, the cost of a license for any device is $29.99/year.

McAfee has many features that can be used by everyone, unlike Bitdefender. However, the most expensive plans only have a handful of them. The Core Package includes a VPN as well as a password manager and file encryption. There is also a file shredder.

Remember that this antivirus also offers a couple plan which provides 2-year protection services up to five devices for $29.99/year. McAfee offers a Family plan for $49.99/year that covers 10 devices.

When it comes to mobile security, I loved the mobile friendly Guest Mode. This allows you to lock certain applications and give your child access to the phone so that they can play or watch videos.

Home Network Security also needs to be mentioned. It allows for the management of all devices connected through the wifi, and alerts you when there are intrusion attempts.

McAfee performs well most of the times, according to the independent tests. MRG Effitas did not certify Avira or this virus in Q2 2020. However, they have more than a few below average results.

It is clear that McAfee should be included on this list. However, it is certainly not the most important. This antivirus software can be recommended to anyone, particularly families and groups that have multiple devices.
